Appointments

If you would like to see a specific doctor, please let us know at the time of booking.  Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and GP.

If you have an urgent medical problem, please discuss with our reception staff. They are experienced in helping you decide if your matter requires a same day appointment, a phone discussion with the doctor or urgent attendance at an Emergency Department. Our reception staff are at all times supported by our medical staff.

Longer consultation times are available so please ask our receptionists if you require some extra time.  If you or a family member requires an interpreter service we can organise this for you.  Please let us know when you make the appointment.

The practice nurses are available five days per week.  They are willing to assist you in any way they can however please be aware that your appointment with the nurse is for the condition/issue you are booked for (ie diabetic check, blood pressure check, management plan etc) and not for other issues you may want to see the doctor about (unless very urgent).

In Hours Home Visits

These visits are performed by our practice where indicated for people whose medical conditions or social situations will not allow them to come to the surgery.  The earlier in the day that we are notified of the need for such a visit, the easier to schedule if necessary.

After Hours Arrangements

Our after hours care is provided by the GP Access After Hours which comprises a cooperative of local doctors who share the after hours emergencies.  The telephone number is:

GP Access After Hours 1300 130 147

For medical emergencies please ring 000 for an ambulance

GP Access After Hours is not available Monday to Friday 8 am to 9 am and Saturday morning between 8 am to 12.30 pm.  Telephone advice during this time can be obtained by leaving a brief message and your telephone number and the surgery will return your call.
